Hello Jazz Fans! Formed in October of 2004, we're based in the Pacific Northwest. We specialize in the performance of Dixieland “Hot Swing” of the 1930’s and the Big Band Hits of the 1940’s and beyond. Our special blend of jazz played in the “Chicago” small ensemble style, is designed for dancing and of course listening enjoyment which, combined with superb showmanship, makes each show an event.
Between jazz festivals we keep busy playing for jazz societies, private and corporate functions, weddings, casinos and dances of all kinds.
Band members
Willy Petersen - trumpet, Rex Rice - trombone, Jeff Winslow - reeds, Hal Champ - bass /vocals, Dale Brown - banjo/violin, Glenn Young - drums. On piano Don Alverson, Joe Baque, George Radebaugh, or Eric LindstromDave McCrary and Bruce Casacchi are graciously filling-in on trumpet while Willy recouperates. No Inhibitions plays it hot, sweet, soft, intense and everywhere in between. We love what we do and play everything with high energy and a danceable beat.
